Big Paddle Clean Up: Our Students Led the Way
Our students took to the River Severn for a litter pick, showing real teamwork, confidence and care for the world around them.

Our Big Paddle Clean Up on the River Severn was a brilliant reminder of what young people can achieve when they’re given real responsibility. From the moment we set off, our students were focused, confident and ready to put their skills into action.

They spotted litter along the banks, worked together on the water and showed real care for the environment. Bags quickly filled with bottles, plastics and all sorts of unexpected finds. Every piece removed felt like a win and our students owned those wins from start to finish.
This is outdoor learning at Shropshire Adventures. Skills being used for a purpose, teamwork that feels natural and young people proving to themselves what they can do when the challenge is real.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. The river is cleaner because of you and our students walked away stronger, prouder and more connected to the world around them.
More clean ups are on the way and we can’t wait to see our young people shine again.
